Man arrested for Sunday burglary in downtown Duluth

Police Lights 2DULUTH, Minn — A 36-year-old man has been arrested after a burglary in downtown Duluth.

According to officials, on Sunday at 1:20 a.m., they responded to reports of a burglary at a business on West Superior Street.

Once on scene, they found broken glass along with shell casings on the sidewalk. Officers then cleared the building, finding no one inside.

After watching surveillance footage, officials say they have identified a 36-year-old man who was involved in the burglary.

The man was located and arrested shortly after, and was in possession of items stolen from the business.

He faces pending charges of 1st Degree Burglary, Reckless Discharge of a Firearm, and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
