Nexus Project Aims to Transform Our Region

NexusPROCTOR, Minn. — A project aimed at bringing innovation and transformation to the region is making progress in Proctor.

The Nexus Project is a $100 million+, multiphase project spread out over 89 acres.

This project will build housing, stores, childcare and so much more.

The jewel of the project will be a massive indoor sports dome.

The dome will feature 2 softball fields, 4 professional basketball courts that can switch to volleyball and pickle ball courts.

There will also be a track, an indoor golfing area, batting cages, weightlifting, and other areas that can transform to fit the community.

“We’re building this in the old-fashioned way, and that is bringing along a lot of businesses with us, bringing in partners, bringing in the media. You can invest in our project for as little as $250 so what we’re looking at is saying, ‘this is ours. This is a regional thing that’s ours’.” said Beth Wentzlaff, Nexus Project Developer and President of CMR.

They are planning to break ground next year once preparation wraps up.

This project would be the first major growth for Proctor since the 1940’s.
