13th Annual Hike for Health

DULUTH, Minn. –
People gathering at Hartley Nature Center for the thirteenth annual Hike for Health fundraiser put on by CHOICE Unlimited.

The event is dedicated to supporting adults with disabilities. The main activities consist of a long hike and a short hike, vendors, demonstrations, and prize drawings.

All proceeds from the event go towards health and wellness classes, gym memberships, and nutrition education for adults with disabilities.

“Having an event out here at Hartley Park, one of the most beautiful places in Duluth, that is just adding to our mission, and our people just love anything where they can come out in the community and be a part,” Jessa Swift, health and wellness coordinator, CHOICE.

Each hiker or sponsor who donated $30 or more got a fun t-shirt to take home and wear during the event.
