UMD Men’s Hockey Selected to Finish 6th in NCHC Preseason Media Poll

The Bulldogs will open up the season on the road against Alaska Fairbanks on Friday, October 3rd. 

DULUTH, Minn.- The UMD men’s hockey team was selected to finish 6th in the NCHC preseason media poll on Thursday.

In the poll, Western Michigan was selected to win the NCHC conference.

Last year, the Bulldogs finished with a record of 13-30-3.

Finishing 7th in the conference a season ago.

UMD enters the season with a young roster, with 18 underclassmen set to skate this year.

The Bulldogs will open up the season on the road against Alaska Fairbanks on Friday, October 3rd.
