Prep Football: Hermantown, Esko, & Hibbing Earn Week 4 Wins, Denfeld & Superior Fall
Friday marked Week 4 for prep football teams in Minnesota and Week 5 for Wisconsin squads.
CLOQUET, Minn.- The Hermantown football team continued to prove that they are a top contender for the Section 7AAAA title.
On Friday, the Hawks improved to 4-0 after defeating Cloquet 41 to 21.
In Esko, the Esko football team continued their winning ways as they topped Mora 50 to 0 for their 3rd straight victory.
As for Duluth Denfeld, they may have been 0-3 facing a 3-0 Pequot Lakes team. But, they played the Patriots tough, only falling 27 to 24.
The Hibbing Bluejackets returned to the .500 mark with a 36-0 shutout of Proctor.
Finally, Superior is still in search of their first victory of the year after falling to Menomonie 42 to 6.
