Two pedestrians injured in hit-and-run crash on West Skyline Parkway
UPDATE: Officials have identified the two pedestrians as a 58-year-old woman and a 74-year-old man.
The suspected driver of the vehicle that hit them has also been identified as a 68-year-old man.
The man remains on hold at a local hospital until he is cleared, and will be lodged at the St. Louis County Jail for pending charges of Criminal Vehicular Operation.
DULUTH, Minn. — Police are investigating after two pedestrians were hit by a vehicle on West Skyline Parkway.
Officers say it happened around 4 p.m. Monday in the 3800 block of West Skyline. The two pedestrians were taken by Mayo Ambulance for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities say the vehicle that struck them left the scene but was located a short time later. The suspected driver has been identified.
Police say this remains an active and ongoing investigation.
