Temporary closure on Caribou Trail in Cook County for culvert replacement
Drivers in Cook County should be aware of a temporary road closure scheduled for next week.
The Cook County Highway Department says a cross culvert on CSAH 4, also known as Caribou Trail, will be replaced on Wednesday, September 24, weather permitting.
The project is just north of the intersection with Murmur Creek Road. The work will require a full closure of the road from 9 a.m. until noon.
Officials are asking travelers to plan ahead and follow all posted traffic signs during the closure.
The highway department says it appreciates the public’s patience while crews complete this infrastructure upgrade.
