Coffee Conversation: Boat Club Productions Presents “Tick, Tick… Boom!”

Running from September 26 to October 5, 2025, at the Spirit of the North Theatre (3rd Floor, Fitger’s Complex), the production tells the powerful, semi-autobiographical story of Jonathan Larson — the Pulitzer and Tony Award-winning composer of Rent.

Set in 1990, Tick, Tick… Boom! follows Jon, a struggling composer facing life’s pressures as he chases his Broadway dreams. With just three actors playing ten characters, a live band, and a dynamic pop/rock score, this energetic musical explores themes of ambition, love, and the fear of running out of time.

Showtimes include evening performances at 7:30 p.m. on September 26–27 and October 2–4, and matinees at 2:00 p.m. on September 28 and October 5.
