Minnesota Monsters Re-Sign ArenaMania II MVP Ja’Vonte Johnson for Third Season

DULUTH, Minn.- The Minnesota Monsters have re-signed star quarterback Ja’Vonte Johnson for a third season.
In the Monsters’ quest for back-to-back championships, Johnson had a spectacular year, throwing for 1,631 yards and 32 passing touchdowns.
He also averaged 181.2 yards per game.
In the ArenaMania II championship game, Johnson led the team to a 56 to 27 win over the Hot Springs Wiseguys, earning ArenaMania MVP honors.
Johnson and the Monsters begin a new chapter in their program, moving to the Arena Football One League next season.
