UMD Football Jumps to 13th in AFCA National Poll After Homecoming Win

The Bulldogs are back at home on Saturday, October 4th, against Southwest Minnesota State. 

DULUTH, Minn.- The UMD football team moved up three spots in the AFCA national poll on Monday after their homecoming victory over MSU-Moorhead.

The Dogs jumped to 13th in the poll, which is the programs highest ranking in the AFCA since the 2021 season.

In the 28 to 14 win, UMD’s kicker Drew Henson made two field goals, including one from 52 yards out which earned him NSIC Special Teams Player of the Week.

The Bulldogs are back at home on Saturday, October 4th, against Southwest Minnesota State.

Kickoff is at noon.
