Ghost Tours Help Ring In Spooky Season In Duluth

DULUTH, Minn. — Are you fascinated by the spooky, mysterious, and paranormal? If so, a new company in Duluth might have just what you’re looking for.

US Ghost Adventures recently launched its new ghost tour location in Duluth.

The company offers a one-hour, narrated tour that explores the city’s most haunted and eerie sites. The tour covers a variety of places throughout the area, which include the NorShore theater, Uncle Harvey’s Mausoleum, and the William A. Irvin, the last of which is nowhere near the only ghostly boat on Lake Superior.

“The SS Bannockburn disappearance itself was so mysterious in 1902 that people weren’t sure if they were the last to see the vessel or the first to see the ghost ship,” said Tour Guide Emily Randa.
“For the only thing that was ever recovered was a single life jacket that washed up on a beach with the name ‘Bannockburn’ written across it.”

Whether you’re a firm believer in ghosts or just curious about Duluth’s dark history, the tour offers a unique way to experience the city after dark.

Tickets and schedules can be found on their website.
