ST. PAUL, Minn. —  The Polaris MRZR has won the “Coolest Thing Made in Minnesota” contest.

The Minnesota Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with BMO, announced that the Military style RZR had won on Tuesday.

The company that makes the MRZR, Polaris, is based in Medina and manufactures in Roseau on a dedicated defense production line.

After 9/11, Polaris started creating off-road vehicles for U.S. Special Forces, made specifically for Afghanistan’s terrain.

This resulted in the MRZR Alpha 6×6, which is used by every  U.S. military branch and over 50 other global allied forces.
