SUPERIOR, Wis. – A Lake Nebagamon man is facing five counts of Possession of Child Pornography.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office has arrested 19-year-old Jackson Dallas Rabold.

The charging documents say investigators were initially tipped off to Rebold when Google detected, “258 files of suspected child pornography, stored on the google photos infrastructure.”  The indictment continues to say IP addresses and e-mail addresses were used to track back to Rabold.

Investigators say a forensic examination of the Rabold’s cell phone located approximately 1,100 files that he suspected to be child pornography.

The court filing also lists chats on the Telegram instant messaging app making reference child phonography and child rape.

He’s slated to next be in court on October 20, 2025 for a status conference.
