Sara Rodriguez visits Superior during Governor campaign tour
SUPERIOR, Wis. — Lieutenant Governor Sara Rodriguez met with Superior residents Monday during her tour across Wisconsin as she runs for Governor.
After working closely with Governor Tony Evers, Rodriguez says she is running for Governor to help better the lives of those in Wisconsin.
Rodriguez’s journey began with a tour, taking the time to visit counties across the state to talk to folks about building a Wisconsin that gives families better support and opportunities.
“Since 2005, we’ve raised over $1.5 million and supported nearly 300 local families. Our mission is about more than money. It’s about giving families hope, and so all of the money that we raise, like I said, stays local and supports families within a 100-mile radius of Duluth here,” said Rodriguez.
Rodriguez will be continuing the tour to speak to people and listen to the thoughts and ideas of Wisconsinites.
