Hermantown’s Hunter Nelson Named Finalist for Mr. Soccer Award

The Mr. Soccer Award winner will be announced on Sunday, October 19th. 

DULUTH, Minn.- On the pitch, Hermantown senior captain Hunter Nelson has been nominated for the 2025 Mr. Soccer Award.

This honor is given to the best senior soccer player in the state of Minnesota.

In his senior campaign with the Hawks, he registered 14 goals and tallied 13 assists.

Hermantown went 9-5-4 this year and reached the section 7A semifinal round of the playoffs.

The Mr. Soccer Award winner will be announced on Sunday, October 19th.
