Portion of Michigan Street closed for construction

DULUTH, Minn. — A portion of Michigan Street will close for construction starting on Wednesday.

The closed portion is between Glen Place and Mesaba Ave.

Officials say the closure is due to the replacement of communications lines in preparation for the MNDOT
pedestrian bridge replacement project.

The closure should last one week.
