Structure destroyed in North Star Township fire

NORTH STAR TOWNSHIP,  Minn. — A structure was deemed a complete loss after a fire in North Star Township.

Fire officials say on Wednesday at around 8 p.m., they responded to reports structure on fire near the intersection of Pequaywan Lake Road and Fox Farm Road in North Star Township. 

The unoccupied cabin or deer shack was found to be a total loss as a result of the fire. 

Officials say there were no injuries and the cause is under investigation.
