Duluth Rotary Club Hosts 40th Annual Rose Sale
DULUTH, Minn. — The Duluth Rotary Club is hosting its 40th annual and final Rose Sale this weekend.
Friday, Oct 17, the Duluth Rotary Club #25 is selling roses across three different locations in Duluth, including Mount Royal Market, Super One Foods in West Duluth and the Super One mall location from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Over the past 40 years, the club has raised over $1.3 million to support youth activities and community organizations through the Rotary Foundation.
After such a long standing tradition, the club with introducing a different fundraiser next year. Despite the event’s conclusion, the club is proud of the success Rose Day has had in the community.
“We’re really proud of our Rotary Rose Sale. We have been doing it for so long, and it’s almost a sad moment where we’re going to be passing the torch onto a different fundraiser going forward. But we’re really proud of all the success that we’ve had with the Rotary Rose Sale,” Michelle Buria, Duluth Rotary Club Past President said.
The Duluth Rotary Club will also be selling roses at the Super One Mall location, Oct 18, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
