Haunted shack bringing fall screams
CARLTON, Minn. — The Haunted Shack is back for its 32nd season, to bring spooky activities to the Twin Ports.
The haunted attraction is located on a working farm that is transformed each year to bring people from around the Midwest out for some fun. The festivities include the haunted shack, corn maze, haunted hay ride, petting zoo, and outdoor games, with all proceeds going towards CHUM, Special Olympics Minnesota, and Coats for Kids.
“We’ve been having great turnouts already, and heck of a scare is going on here, and it’s good for the different organizations that are coming out,” Patrick Stojevich, chief ghoul for the Haunted Shack. “They get to do something different than selling pies or cookies or cakes. They can actually come out, have a great time doing it, and earn some good money for their groups and organizations.”
The Haunted Shack is open through next weekend, and anyone who brings a coat or shelf-stable food will receive a discount.
