Police: Man Called in Bomb Threat at SCCU in Ashland

ASHLAND, Wis. — A man is accused of calling in a bomb threat to Superior Choice Credit Union in Ashland Saturday.

Police said the suspect said the bomb was in his safety deposit box at the bank.

The building was evacuated as a precaution.

The bomb squad was called in from Marathon County.

No device was ever located.

The suspect was arrested on pending charges of terrorist threats and bomb scares.
