Mayer & Gascon Earn WCHA Weekly Honors, UMD Remains Ranked #4

UMD plays host to Minnesota on Friday at 7:02.

DULUTH, Minn.- The UMD women’s hockey team stayed put at number four in the USCHO Poll.

They also had some players pick up some weekly WCHA honors.

Forward Rae Meyer is the Rookie of the Week after posting three points in UMD’s sweep of MSU-Mankato.

Her teammate, Eve Gascon is the Goaltender of the Week.

She stopped 41 of the 42 shots she saw against the Mavericks.
