Former Rep. Angie Sapik Announces State Senate Run
SUPERIOR, Wisc. — Former Wisconsin Representative Angie Sapik announced her campaign for District 25 in the Wisconsin State Senate.
Some of her platform includes funding public education and mental health, expanding insurance to cover 3-D mammograms, providing better protections for correction officers, and expanding oversight on the DNR.
She also stated her beliefs as being prolife and being against boys playing in girls’ sports.
“These priorities, among countless others, are why we need someone in the Senate who is strong, tenacious and most of all present. With our Senator Quinn moving into the 23rd Senate District. This is an opportunity for me to come forward and be that voice.” said Angie Sapik, Running for WI State Senate District 25.
Sapik has been busy since her time in the legislature concluded in January 2025.
She’s written a memoir highlighting her accomplishments and redistricting in the state that led to her departure from the legislature.
