Minnesota Monsters announce new head coach
DULUTH, Min. – The Minnesota Monsters have announced new Head Coach.
Daron Clark will be Head Coach for the first season of the team in the AF1.
Clark has been an assistant coach in The Arena League (TAL) and National Arena League (NAL).
He also played arena football in the Indoor Football League (IFL), Arena Football One (AF1), plus on the bigger filed in the Canadian Football League (CFL).
Daron Clark said in the annoucement, “Coming into a new league as a new team will always come with challenges… I’m fully prepared for the 2026 AF1 season and looking forward to proving my worth, talent and skill as a Head Coach.”
Owner Jake Lambert said, “We are excited that Coach Clark will be stepping into this role. He is an exemplary coach, and we can’t wait to see how he evolves the Monsters.”

In 2008 Clark was second team Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference as a Punt Returner for Stillman College.
The Stillman College Tigers were a NCAA Division II Football team until 2015.
Clark will make his debut in Duluth at a news conference on Wednesday, October 29.
He’ll be joined by a number of people including AF1 League Commissioner Jeff Fisher.
