Vehicle fire singes home in Cloquet; Three people and dog rescued

CLOQUET, Min. – An SUV caught fire the driveway of a Cloquet home on October 23, 2025.
The Cloquet Area Fire District says the fire escalated rapidly.
From the moment incident command arrived to the point crews were pulling hose lines, the intensity grew fast.
Three elderly residents and one dog were safely evacuated from the area.
The fire was on the 1700 block of Trail Drive.
In a statement on Facebook the Cloquet Area Fire District said, “Situations like this are a powerful reminder of how unpredictable fire behavior can be.”
No injuries were reported.
