Section Volleyball: After One-Year Hiatus, Grand Rapids to Play for 7AAA Title Once Again

Grand Rapids lost to North Branch in the semifinals in 2024.

NORTH BRANCH, Minn.- The Grand Rapids volleyball team has found themselves back in the Section 7AAA championship game.

On Monday, the Thunderhawks defeated North Branch in four sets in the semifinals to secure their spot.

They’ll next face Princeton, who swept Cloquet in the other semifinal game on Monday night.

The section title game will take place on Thursday at 6 PM in Hermantown.
