Eight-Point Buck shot in Ely city limits
ELY, Min. – The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is investigating a deer being shot in Ely city limits.
The DNR reports a deer “was shot with a bow inside the city limits”.
The shooting was on the 1100 block of East Main Street, which is near the Ely Recreational Center.
The eight-point buck was shot on or around October 22, 2025, with it being discovered on October 23.
