SNAP Text scams showing up in Minnesota

COOK COUNTY, Min. – Cook County Public Health department say there is SNAP text message scams going around.

They say The Minnesota Department of Children Youth and Families has been alerted of a text scam.

This scam claims that all Minnesota residents qualify for emergency food relief.

The text asks recipients to click a link to claim funds.

Cook County Public Health warns people to not click the link provided.
