Section Football: Cromwell-Wright Handles Bertha-Hewitt to Claim Section Five 9-Man Title Once Again

This is the 5th time in program history that the Cromwell-Wright co-op has made it to state.

BRAINERD, Minn.- For the 2nd straight season, the Cromwell-Wright football team made it to the final eight.

On Thursday, they defeated Bertha-Hewitt 41 to 18 to claim the Section 5 9-Man title.

The Cardinals were led by Drew Nyberg, who had four touchdown passes and a field goal in the victory.

This is the 5th time in program history that the Cromwell-Wright co-op has made it to state.
