Thursday Evening Northland Forecast: 10/30/2025

Halloween Eve

We all have a few things going on, the next few days, and I think the weather is going to cooperate, just fine. First of all, Friday is Halloween. We are all concerned about the conditions for trick or treating. Even though the models “officially” say we have a 30% chance for some light rain on Friday, I’m not buying it. I think the air between a high to the east, and another to the west, is going to gobble up the available moisture, leaving our Friday almost completely dry, and perfect for the kids to go door to door, begging for candy! In fact, there will hardly even be any wind to bother anybody. The high on Friday is about 44, and we will still be in the low 40’s when the kids are running around the neighborhoods. So, we’re good to go on the Halloween forecast.

For the weekend, high pressure will pour in, from the west. We should have partly to mostly sunny skies for much of Saturday and Sunday, and the temps will slowly rise, too. We should hit 50 degrees for a high on Sunday, making it a good day for raking, or, just sitting in the garage, watching football. On Monday, we’ll be on the backside of a cool front. It won’t cool us down much, or produce any precip, but it will give us some pretty strong winds out of the NW, gusting to 25 or 30mph. After that, most of next week is pretty quiet, with highs between 45 and 50.

And finally, remember to turn your clocks BACK on Saturday night. And, boy, will it get dark early on Sunday!

Happy Halloween!
