Chum warming center opens for winter season

DULUTH, Minn. —  The Chum warming center is officially open for the season.

Between now and April 30, the center at 2014 West 3rd Street will be open overnight from 6 p.m. until 8 a.m.

Showers and hygiene supplies are provided, along with housing navigation and other services.

Free bus rides to the warming center will happen at the Duluth Transit Center downtown between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.
