State Volleyball: Grand Rapids’ Title Hopes Dashed By Benilde-St. Margaret’s

ST. PAUL, Minn.- The Grand Rapids volleyball team made their 4th state tournament appearance in the last five seasons on Wednesday night.

Unfortunately, the Thunderhawks ran into a tough Benilde-St. Margaret’s squad, who topped Grand Rapids in straight sets.

Paisley Sweeney led the Thunderhawks with 9 kills in the contest.

Grand Rapids heads into consolation play and will next be in action on Friday. Opponent is still to be determined.
