Max Plante Scores Overtime Goal to Lift UMD Men’s Hockey to Series Sweep Against St. Cloud State

UMD will next be in action on Friday when they welcome Omaha into town.

DULUTH, Minn.- The 7th ranked UMD men’s hockey team took on St. Cloud State on Saturday night.

After taking a 1-0 lead into the first intermission, the Huskies responded with two unanswered goals in the 2nd.

But the Bulldogs battled back to defeat the Huskies 3-2 in overtime.

Scoring the game-winning goal for the Bulldogs was Max Plante.

UMD will next be in action on Friday when they welcome Omaha into town. Puck drop is at 7:07 PM.
