The Duluth 1200 Fund celebrates 40th Anniversary

DULUTH, Minn. — The Duluth 1200 Fund celebrated its 40th anniversary at Zeitgeist.

The private non-profit supports entrepreneurs and business owners by providing mentorships and loans with a mission to grow the economy and create jobs in Duluth.

Wednesday night’s celebration was to celebrate the hard work of everyone involved and the success stories.

“We really hope that one, people walk away with an understanding of who the twelve hundred fund is and what we do, but also that everyone takes a moment to celebrate all mass of success that the 12oo fund has got to be a part of so many business stories within our community.” Says  Duluth Manager of economic development Tricia Hobbs.

Hobbs said that the 1200 Fund encourages everyone who is starting a business to reach out on their website.
