Northland Chevrolet and Superior Amateur Hockey Association to raffle off car

Saha Car Raffle

SUPERIOR, Wis. — Hockey fans have the chance to win a car in Superior!

Northland Chevrolet has partnered with the Superior Amateur Hockey Association (SAHA) to donate a car for a season-long raffle.

The money raised from the raffle will go towards team fees, registration fees and making it as affordable as possible to play hockey.

The car, a Chevy Trax, will be going home with the winner of the raffle.

The hope is that proceeds from the raffle allow more kids to get involved in the sport.

“It’s providing more opportunity for more kids to play. I think there’s a stigma that the game of hockey is expensive, and we’re trying to do everything we can to to keep those costs down and, again, make it more affordable for more kids to play,” Matt Sislo, President of SAHA said.

Northland Chevrolet donated the car as a way to support the local hockey scene and make it more affordable for families.

“It really means a lot to us. You know, we know that hockey isn’t exactly a cheap sport to be a part of, and we want to make it as affordable as possible. And we want to make it so that any kid in the Northland who wants to play hockey can,” Breanan Barstad, Northland Chevrolet Marketing Director said.

Tickets for the raffle are $20 each, the winner will be picked near the end of the season.

You can get tickets at the Superior Ice Arena.
