Four St. Louis County election workers earn Excellence in Elections Award

DULUTH, Minn.– Following the most recent election season, several St Louis County election workers were recognized and awarded for their efforts.

In today’s ceremony, 4 election workers received the Excellence in Elections award.

Amanda Inman, Municipal Services Secretary, City of Mountain Iron

Dawn Kehoe, Deputy Clerk Treasurer, City of Cook

Theresa Martinson City Administrator, City of Cook

Election season was described as a year-round commitment.

One of the award recipients told FOX 21, it’s a privilege to assist with the process.

“To be able to make sure things are running as they should according to the state and federal laws, it’s a lot of work. But at the same time, there’s passion behind it. With the idea that the ballot box is stronger than the sword,” said Jon Blevins.

For the 2025 election season, this is the second round of recognition the St Louis County board has done.
