Girls Basketball: Proctor Begins Season with Win, Duluth East Falls at Home

Thursday marked the beginning of the girls basketball season in Minnesota.

PROCTOR, Minn.- Thursday marked the beginning of the girls basketball season in Minnesota.

Over in Proctor, the Rails protected their home court with a 63 to 41 win over Cloquet.

Proctor will next play at Pequot Lakes on November 25th.

Cloquet is at Esko on the 25th.

In other girls action, Duluth East was unable to handle Princeton as the Tigers came away with the 59-45 win.

Ruby Zubich led East with 19 points in the contest.

The Greyhounds will look to bounce back against Cambridge-Isanti on November 25th.
