Mont Du Lac Resort prepares for season kick off

SUPERIOR, Wis. —  Mont Du Lac Ski Resort is making snow as it prepares for this year’s season.

The resort is looking forward to this winter as the last two seasons have been difficult for business.

“We’re hoping for a great winter. You know, the last couple of winters have been difficult with natural snow, so we’re just hoping for a great winter when we don’t have to create a lot of snow. But right now we are so we can get people out skiing,” said Chris Nehring, the resort’s sales and marketing director “When you don’t have great snow and the ski hill isn’t able to put good snow out there, it’s a little bit difficult for people to come out there and enjoy.”

Opening day is set for November 23.
