Ashland Scores 32 Unanswered Points to Knock UMD Football Out of the NCAA Playoffs

The Bulldogs end the year with a 10-2 overall record.  

ASHLAND, OH. – The UMD football team kicked off its push for a national title on Saturday afternoon.

The Bulldogs took on Ashland in the first round of the NCAA tournament.

UMD opened up the game scoring on their first possession to take a 7-0 lead over the Eagles.

However, the Eagles rattled off 32 unanswered points to secure the 32-7 win over the Bulldogs.

The Eagles showed why they’re a top defense in the country, generating four total turnovers in their win against UMD.

The Bulldogs end the year with a 10-2 overall record.
