Santa and his reindeer begin meet and greets at Fitgers

DULUTH, Minn.– The holiday season has officially arrived, and Santa Claus and his reindeer are wasting no time getting into the spirit.

Each weekend leading up to Christmas, Santa is stopping by Fitgers to visit with kids and families.

He isn’t coming alone; Donner and Blitzen are tagging along for some extra holiday fun.

Santa said he’s looking forward to hearing all about what children are hoping for this year.

But most of all, he’s just enjoying spreading Christmas cheer wherever he goes as the big day approaches.

And in the first weekend, Santa is already noticing some favorite toy trends.

“This is a year-round activity. I look for families wherever we go, to make sure that the kids are doing fine. I love chatting to them at the restaurants. You can see the excitement in their faces, so they know it’s me. Legos are still very big. Everyone’s liking that monster trucks, hot wheel cars and tracks. Several of the young, young girls are asking for makeup,” said Santa Claus.

You can meet Santa and his crew for a quick chat or photo at Fitgers every Saturday from 11 am to 4 pm, and Sundays from noon to 3 pm.
