Minnesota Ballet performs scenes of ‘The Nutcracker’ at Essentia
DULUTH, Minn. — Healthcare Workers and patients at Essentia saw some dazzling dances from the Nutcracker.
The Minnesota Ballet visited the hospital ahead of their full performance at the DECC.
They performed a few excerpts from the ballet in the atrium, then headed up to the pediatric unit to perform for the children.
“It’s a wonderful way to appreciate the health care workers of our of our city. They do so much for us, and they’re always there. And so, we want to bring a little, a little magic, a little a little holiday cheer to them, if we can.” said Brooke Bero, Ballerina for the Minnesota Ballet.
The upcoming performances at the DECC are a Duluth based twist of the classic ballet.
Show dates are Friday December 12th at 7pm and the 13th and 14th at 3pm.
They recommend saving money by calling the Box Office to purchase tickets.
