Sabor by Pedro’s to take over MadHouse Burgers location

Local Mexican chain is adding a third location in Duluth

SUPERIOR, Wis — Sabor by Pedro’s will be taking over the space previously held by MadHouse Burgers on Woodland Ave.

The restaurant will be an extension of Pedro’s Grill & Cantina, bringing a unique twist on their current menu, focusing on brunch items and fun Mexican dishes.

The new location will not compete with their existing restaurants in Cloquet and Superior, which will remain unchanged.

“We do know how hard it is to be in the restaurant business, so for all the people in the area to make it somewhat easier for us, for all the great feedback we have, it’s it’s a blessing. So we’re going to keep giving back to the people and what they want,” Pedro Aranda, Pedro’s Grill & Cantina Owner.

The owners of Pedro’s hope to be up and running at the new location within two months.

“We are going to be bringing our main dishes to there, but we want to make it fun. We just, you know, we want to stay with the area. I know there’s a lot of college kids, so we want to bring some new items and some fun things,” Erika Aranda, Pedro’s Grill & Cantina Owner.

The owners of MadHouse Burgers posted to Facebook to say they’re excited for the new energy Pedro’s will be bringing to the space and will keep followers updated their future endeavors.
