Superior Police Officer shot; active incident area
SUPERIOR, WI. – A Superior Police Officer has been shot. Superior Police Chief Paul Winterscheidt says, “the suspect is contained.”
The officer was transported to Essentia-Duluth and is in stable condition.
The active scene is in the area of North 37th Street and Tower Avenue and the Superior Middle School.
Superior Police are asking residents to avoid the area.
