Prep Hockey: Hermantown Boys Handle Denfeld, Northern Star Girls Stun Lightning
Beau Christy and Micklain Martalock each had a hat trick in the victory for Hermantown.
DULUTH, Minn.- The Hermantown boys hockey team continued their unbeaten run on Tuesday, defeating Duluth Denfeld 9 to 2.
Beau Christy and Micklain Martalock each had a hat trick in the victory.
The Hawks are now 6-0-2 and will play at Maple Grove on Friday.
As for the Hunters (1-5-1), they’ll host Duluth East on Saturday.
In girls action, Duluth stormed back from a 4-1 deficit to defeat Grand Rapids/Greenway 6-4.
The Northern Stars improve to 9-4 and are at Elk River on Thursday.
Lightning fall to 7-3-2 and will host Brainerd/Little Falls on Thursday.
