College Basketball: UMD Women Make it Seven Wins in a Row, UMD Men Bounce Back

Both Bulldogs squads will be back in action on Saturday against UMary.

DULUTH, Minn.- Both the UMD men’s and women’s basketball teams protected their home court on Thursday night.

Playing Minot State in a doubleheader, the Bulldog men began the night with a 67 to 58 victory.

Caleb Siwek had a team-leading 13 points for UMD.

Following the men, the UMD women extended their winning streak to seven by defeating the Beavers 83 to 69.

Claire Bjorge had 20 points for the Bulldogs.

Both Bulldogs squads will be back in action on Saturday against UMary.
