Minnesota Hockey Hall of Fame set to build $70 million complex
INVER GROVE HEIGHTS, Minn. The Minnesota Hockey Hall of Fame officially announced its plans to build a $70 million complex in Inver Grove Heights.
Natalie Darwitz, a former Eagan High School star and Hockey Hall of Famer, is leading the large project.
The facility will feature a world-class interactive museum, an NHL-size sunken ice rink, event and performance space, and a hockey-themed bar and restaurant.
Organizers say the complex will serve as a permanent home celebrating hockey at every level, from youth to professional, while partnering with the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame in Eveleth.
Construction is expected to begin soon, with the doors set to open in 2028.
