Family displaced after house fire; 2 cats rescued by Duluth firefighters
DULUTH, Minn. – Four people are displaced, and two cats are lucky to have been rescued after a fire tore through a home in Duluth.
The fire broke out around 11:30 p.m. Friday in the 4200 block of Gladstone Street.
Crews from Lakeside, Downtown, UMD and Woodland responded.
The four people inside got out on their own without any injuries.]
The family’s two cats were still inside, but firefighters located them in the basement and brought them to safety.
The fire got so bad that the roof collapsed.
The Duluth Fire Marshal is investigating a cause.
