Cook County stabbing incident under investigation

GRAND MARAIS, Minn. — The Cook County Dispatch received a call regarding a stabbing inside the local Co-Op around 3:45 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 27.

Upon arriving on scene, first responders performed emergency care,  and the victim was transported by ambulance to North Shore Health for further care. The suspect fled the scene; however, deputies were able to apprehend the suspect with the help of an accurate description. As of right now, the case is under investigation. More details will be released once the investigation is complete.
