Teen accused of trying to rob person at gunpoint near Lincoln Park Pavilion

Duluth Police Logo OtsDULUTH. Min. – Duluth Police says at approximately 8 p.m., Monday, December 29, 2025 police responded to the call of a person with a gun in the 400 block of Lincoln Park Drive.

That is near the Renee Van Nett Pavilion in Lincoln Park.

A 17-year-old set-up a sale via Snapchat.

Police say the initial information said shows the 17-year-old was selling an item to what police call a “known individual”.

Police add the 17-year-old attempted to rob the buyer at gunpoint.

Duluth Police have not said what was being sold.

The teen fled the scene in their vehicle, which was later located by Minnesota State Patrol.

Minnesota State Patrol tells FOX21 they stopped the car with the teen in it about 20-minutes after the initial.

A Duluth Police Officer responded to the Minnesota State Patrol traffic stop and arrested the teen.

The suspect is now lodged at Arrowhead Juvenile Center, charged with Aid and Abet Aggravated Robbery.
