Lake Superior Zoo announces ‘Porcupine Pub’, and 21+ events
DULUTH, Minn.– The Lake Superior Zoo is saying ‘cheers’ to the new year, by welcoming in some new 21+ opportunities.
The ‘Porcupine Pub’ is debuting at the zoo, and it’s bringing along some new events.
Starting in January, they will be hosting a trivia night every third Wednesday of the month.
Attendees can take advantage of their selection of local beers and ciders on tap.
The Senior Marketing Developer at the zoo said, it’s exciting to branch out to different age groups.
“I think we are really trying to wrap our minds around what adults in the community would really like to see from the zoo, or what kind of programming they’d like us to have here. We’d love to have host different groups. So, if people wanted to do like a bachelorette or bachelorette thing, or a paint and sip or something like that, here, we would love to host things like that as well,” said Caroline Routley, Senior Marketing Developer, Lake Superior Zoo.
The zoo announced a series luminary walks coming up in February as well.
Right now, it’s tentatively scheduled for February 13th through the 22nd.
We’re told the dates are weather dependent.
