SUPERIOR, Wis.– A local author and professor is bringing a lot of wisdom into the new year with the release of his newest book.

‘Wisdom from the Woods’ is a book designed to carry positivity and relaxation throughout the year.

It’s filled with 52 nature inspired metaphors and short stories he’s gathered to give gentle guidance.

Author Mark Langenfeld is also psychology professor at Northwood Tech in Superior.

And he said, the proceeds of the 10 year long process of creating and publishing this novel will fully go back to students.

“I decided I’m going to donate 100% of my royalties to the Student Nutrition Assistance Program, which is through the foundation at our college, and it provides grocery vouchers to our students so that they can feed themselves and their families in these tough times,” said Mark Langenfeld, author and professor.

Langenfeld said, the book has already made its way to 24 countries around the world.

‘Wisdom from the Woods’ is on sale now online, and in all local bookstores around the area.
